Visit the official programme website for more information This is a field that will continually demand specialists in order to make the transition to sustainable road and rail transport in the future. The master’s programme in Vehicle Engineering explores both Automotive and Railway Engineering. The Road Vehicle specialisation includes all road vehicles with a main focus on cars, trucks and buses. In the Rail Vehicle specialisation, the system aspect is very important, as the different parts of a railway system – vehicle, track, electrification and signalling – all strongly influence each other. The programme is based on lectures, assignments, simulations and experiments. The first year of the programme focuses on providing a common base in vehicle engineering, and includes some common compulsory courses for all students as well as compulsory courses for each specialisation.
