This course covers mainly well intervention operations, coiled tubing techniques espcially. It also covers well completion principles and components in addition to the wellhead components. There is an overview of the IWCF certificate and exam and its related calculations. The wireline operations required before carrying out coiled tubing operations. We cover the definition of coiled tubing and its safety in addition to CT package components and standard rig up of this equipment. The course explains CT barrier theory including primary, secondary, and tertiary barriers. It shows a typical CT surface stack. CT applications are explained in detail. Working in an H2S environment and suitable CT equipment for H2S. We discuss also the risk assessment matrix. Define hazards zone classification and personal protective equipment PPE, also life-saving roles. We explain Macondo well - deep horizon disaster and the H2S incident that happened in 2009 in UAE. The last subject is troubleshooting of CT including 10 cases and how to solve each case professionally.
